All this talk of the ongoing Letterman-Leno feud reminded me of how Leno used to be a guest on Letterman’s show all the time. (“What’s my beef? Lemme tell ya my beef!”) I remembered him being funny back then. I was remembering incorrectly.
Not that I didn’t enjoy Leno calling Nadia Comaneci a “commie.”
